what is this like lip #4?

I know of (in approximate order of obtainment, some had to be assumed):

I'm pretty sure all of these cars came with the lip kits from Honda since they're otherwise stock as far as I know.
1 - Middle-aged woman in Tacoma, WA with the lip kit which presumably came on the car new (white coupe)
1 - Car in Tampa, FL area with lip that presumably came on the car new (green coupe)
1 - Car in Canby, OR with lip kit that presumably came on the car new (white EX coupe

The next ones are all in Europe, and though likely were on the car from Honda, might have been added afterwards. All of these cars are modified.
2 - Japper in Holland (full kit, black hatch)
2 - AndreasSweden in Sweden (front lip, green hatch)
2 - Bullit in Germany (front lip and sideskirts, unsure about rear lip, red hatch)

These are the cars I'm more aware of the order of getting the lips. It's nothing new, but it's different for modified Hondas in the US. I believe they're much easier to find in Europe.
3 - NickW in MO (silver EX coupe with front lip and painted skirts, car and lip since sold)
4 - NOFX in WA (me, green originally, full kit, red EX coupe)
5 - watisjdm in NC (black? originally, full kit, red coupe)

Understandable, although knowing Amy the little that I do, somehow I don't see her having a big reaction to this.

Well, I can't say I'm thrilled that after years of looking for a lip, right after I get mine someone else who's known to me picks one up to put on a car that looks similar to mine (red EX coupe).

It probably would have been less "shocking" had it happened later.

I think I was also surprised that someone else in the US liked one enough to buy one.

Okay....so if I understand correctly, this lip is uber rare therefore costing a shitload of money. "Amy" is somehow related to whatisjdm meaning he spent her money to buy said lip hence the foreseeable ass kicking whatisjdm is expecting. So now whatisjdm, Amy, and NOFX, who is the resident porn poster in VIP, are the only people in the country that currently sport the somewhat offensive yet super rare lip?

Amy is me. I am not related to watisjdm unless you mean that I know him online.

He spent his own money to buy his. I spent my own money to buy mine. I see his purchase as being a rare low price because the lip is damaged. I paid for a brand new in box, discontinued, very rare lip. I got lucky in finding a lip, much less a new one. He got lucky in finding a lip, much less at that price.

Now that both of us have them and have been "advertising" them, there is a higher chance that others will want them and that others who have them or know where to get them will be willing to sell them. They'll see a market and see it as an opportunity to sell something that they might have otherwise thought was worthless or "just another CTR lip".

There's hype because
- It's very, very rare
- Most people are seeing it for the first time, or at least learning about it for the first time (some have seen it and assumed it was a CTR lip)

Oh, and in the US it was only sold as a optional front lip, rear lip and sideskirts for the 1998 coupes. In Europe it was known as the Sport lip and came as a kit for the hatches.
