dude your wasting your money if your buying it from ebay especially a turbo. just save some money and go buy one from a legitimate manufacturer that's my advice to you.

im running an Ebay turbo ive had it for 2 yrs it doesnt smoke nor it doesnt have shaft play and it boosts fast IMO sometimes you bite the bear sometimes the bear bites you. is all about how tunned the car is how well you maintain clean oil in it and if you turbo time it. an ebay turbo can last 2+ yrs and its 160.00 a garrett turbo can last 4+ yrs and its $800-1000.00 even if you buy 4 ebay turbos in a 8 yr period you still saving some $.

I thought about getting a Ebay turbo but haven't heard anything good or bad about them. Should I get one from ebay or save up for a name brand turbo? Here is the one I was thinking about getting

Help a brotha out =)
personally i would just save your money and buy a name brand or build a junk yard kit. but on the other hand, this company is offering warranties, technical support and what not....so who knows about this place. i tried to dig up some dirt on this place and came up with nothing.....came up with a s**t load for ssac and xspower tho.....lol. its your call dude, but dont complain to us when your turbo blows up in like a week.

I figured that would be the thing to change...put some nice quality seals in there. I would think that everything else in there that is mechanical should be fine......

comparing a chinese bushing turbo to a garrett bb turbo makes no sense at all...

i have seen used garrett hybirds for $250-300, i personally paid $300 for my used t3/t4 and it works awesome. i would not take the risk in buying a chinese turbo...

the main problem with the ebay turbos is that the compressor housing is GLUED on instead of bolted or properly welded. DO NOT buy one. Garrett turbo's are recommended refurbished every 100k, an ebay turbo, if you get one that lasts more than a couple months, will never last that long.

I'm running basically that exact turbo and it's been working perfectly for the couple months it's been on. Doesn't leak or anything.

wow didnt know people actually bought ebay turbos, IMO the cheapest i would go is turbonetics, but rather do it right the first time and go quality and get garett

You get what you pay for, go cheap in the beginning and then you end up spending more money in the end fixing s**t that breaks

i also heard that if you by the kit with the oil lines, that it pushes to much oilk so you have to get a restricter

That doesn't have anything to do with the kit or it's oil lines, that's just the Honda motor in general. It just operates with a hi oil psi...which is why you generally need a restrictor.
