Well, last night I was just hanging out with my girlfriend, and my dad my dad called me up and was telling me how he found this civic, blah blah blah.

Here it is.

The only thing I was disapointed about was that its automatic, but then...It came to me that maybe it would be somewhat fun do to a conversion. I donno.

I still have my black one, but this one is going to be a project one. I know the pictures are crappy, but we haven't started anyone work on it.

Look for updates.=)

PS. Did anyone else notice the taillights? haha.

NY plates? You not in Ohio?

Leave it as a dd, don't worry about converting to standard.

It appears to be that the red and amber are inverted. 96-98 Sedan tails are red over amber. His are amber over red.

So does that 96-98 have a 99 rear lid and lamps?

Nope, just the random 99 outer tail. Dont ask me how that happened. it has never been in an accident...so who knows why it was changed.

I bought it because we were getting it for a good deal. Plus I want to have it just as a project. Plus, if i needed it as a daily driver, I want it to be practical for my needs.

It has NY plates...because we are buying it from NY, but I am from Ohio. We still have yet to pick it up.

Where abouts in NY did you buy it from? The first thing I noticed was the 99-00 outter tailights. Dunno why...but it just cought my eye. If your keeping just for a DD, then leave it auto that way you dont have to worry about clutching in heavy traffic. But, manuals are so much more fun to drive and the conversions arent that hard. I did it to my '00 LX sedan, and love every minute of it. But +1 for another foh-doh! :thumbs up

I sold it, because I was going to sell my brother my 97 manual lx, but then I was like..well...I still want manual, so I sold the red one, and hes just going to look for a different car. Plus..there is a lot better deals out there.

I always checked your conversion thread Ryan. After I saw yours and Petes cars, I began to realize my four door would have potential. :thumbs up:
