i think the fact that the autopower bar is accepted by MANY large scale racing bodies speaks greatly for its quality...

yeah i does. like 3 years ago i was going for my nhra license. and i had to have my roll cage in my rex approved by a major official. which it was. went through the whole physical, cat scan/mri's, xrays on everything. got everything certified with the car and approved ( chassis, seat, restraint systems, fire suppression and so on). then the boy popped out. had to give it up. never did get my license/certification.....what ever they call it.

so in turn i guess if you do some research on bolt in cages/bars enough you should find some out there that are accepted.

So how the hell do you correctly attach them to your car and not have a rollbar/cage/harness bar? I assume that most other attachment points are to far away or dont meet the min. angle requirements from the drivers shoulder.

That looks god awful, dangerous, and very uncomfortable with the stock seats.

times 1 million... you should keep a body bag in your car in case you ever get in an accident..

my god, is that location acceptable according to scca and all the other HIGHLY suggested mounting locations? I doubt so. Def. doesnt appear to be safe.

mounting is actually correct...

angle is wrong
lack of bar is wrong
and quality (safety) of harness is questionable

I know it doesnt look the exact way in the pics but they suck ass and I apologize for taking such horrible pictures. So are they still installed wrong if done the way in the tutorial?

At the least I would suggest that you get a harness bar. Theres a guy that sells one for 120 on ebay, which is a great price. Its the same overall size as the sparco harness bar and from what I can tell is legit. I'm getting one sometime in the near future.
