b16a2 boost...problem

i want to boost it because after doing research i realized that b16s arent good for n/a and most ppl go for gsrs and k's nowadays.
i wanna go turbo DD but i was told that my motors problem is that the valve seals and/or valve guide seals may needa be changed. how much would it cost to get all my seals and headgasket changed? and how would it run if i boosted my motor with stock internals? i just wanna be able to hit mid to low 14s

B16A is just fine for na? with ANY D series, and with ANY turbo, at 4-5 BASIC psi you will hit 14's. crank up the boost and go from there

Whoever it is feeding you the info on your motor...don't listen to them because they are wrog on everything that you have listed.

Your head and it's components will be fine (under normal circumstances).
Mid to low 14s is a very easily reached goal. Have you run your car at the track? What does it ru now with what 60ft and what trap speed?

never run it at a track before. its a completely stock b16a2 with a 6 puck clutch

i seen a all motor b16 beat a sti i cant find the vid....it was from a roll

It woun't take much to bet a B16 to run low 14s. We've done the most basic Tuner turbo kit on a bone stock fresh from HMO D15B that went 14.3 @ 8psi...with a 2.3 60ft

valve seals are fine, dont even worry about that or the head gasket. stock head gasket is metal and if it blows its not because its weak its because of a tuning/overheating issue more than anything.

if i turbocharged a b16 i would be upset with anything less than low 12's/high 11s on slicks and low 13's/high 12's on a good street tire.
