99-00 climate control console question

part of my center console bezel is broke and i was going to replace the whole climate center, but i saw that they sell just the bezel seperately. now does this just pull off? or does the whole center climate console have to come out in order to replace the bezel?

the whole piece comes out, THEN you separate it from the cd player, etc.

if you have the service manual which you can find it here on the forum...there is a process of removing those bezel..i just removed mine yesterday and repainted it..wasnt much difficult except on the screws on the climate control...
