im excited to get it running good so i can have some fun haha.update:
well its been a while, beat the living crap out of thing and the clutch finally gave way. lol it was in that motor for 6 years and saw 3 differnet owners, it also saw boost for about a couple of months by the last owner. I got the trans off and turns out it wasnt an exedy stage 2 clutch, it was just an act street disc and one of the springs fell out of the center of the clutch disk.
I got my hands on a used oem itr clutch for $40, went to start it and it wouldnt start. We suspected something in the harness so a friend has been looking at it for the past 2 weeks, hoping to have it back soon so i can go driving!
Basically been the worlds longest clutch change, just passed the 3 week mark, its very hard going 3 weeks with no vtec O.O . I also put a set of 6000k HIDs in so i cant wait to see those.
I also got that old kinked header off and put a stock manifold on, its louder and feels a bit quicker. I also figured out the ignition timing was retarted too much so i advanced it all the way on the dizzy, it runs tons better and so far no signs of spark knock so i think im good. I also figured out that the reason it was running like comple dog s**t (still on the dsm 450s) was because the fuel pressure was set at 38 psi, i put it up to 55 and its like night and day. I spin off both tires in 1st from 4k like its nothing (quaife is working lol), and its retarted in the rain and snow lol.
I just cant wait to have this thing running again. I will keep you guys updated and let you know what happens!

I think it looks preety cool, a little to much oem, BUT your working on it so b+ for trying, lol. I like the intake tho, to many people hate but Its different and thats the 1st one I have seen on a civ, nice and keep the work up, btw GREAT COLOR!

eternally in debt to my parents for life *suicide* lol, well it took alot of convincing but they eventually let me get it and i've payed back about half of it so far. i like the intake because sure the chrome might be slightly on the rice side, but it looks alot better imo than a dirty ass flat color ebay intake that looks like a dirt pile. imo makes the engine bay look better and its cheap and easy to makeAChase said:Looks nice and not to much rice

This summer i plan to have the car slammed so we'll see, i think i want to keep the steelies and hubcap for now and see how it looks on those, imo most vsm coupes with different wheels look odd, i dono its weird i just dont think wheels look as good on silver coupes as on black or blue ones. we'll see how it all plays out though. just hoping my dad doesnt put the car up for sale because hes fed up with all the maintenance (im fine with it, its a car, its going to have problems).mentor..which is by cleveland. But i use to go to toledo alot....
no s**t? dam are u comin back ever? i know toledo sucks but its got some fun ricers lol, running alexis road eveyr weekend in the summer, ah good times. (for those of u that dont know, alexis rd is like 10 miles long and everything just cruises it on the weekends and u have a very good chance at getting atleast one race in with a random person). i remember when i was running open headers i had kids in grand ams all over me, unfortunatly that was before i fixed the fuel pressure and timing so i got beat by a grand am
i just played it out and said it was stock lol.
