i always thought the si shift knob was leather? anyways some guy wants to sell me the combo for $20 and if you guys can confirm its from a 99-00 si im going to pick it up

The boots are all the same. They didn't differ (as far as I know atleast). Like the boot on the EM1 is the same on my 99 EX. Just the knob differs a little bit.

Untrue. The si boot is different. Instead of a plastic black ring at the top it was chrome AND there were two "slits" for the knob to clip in, holding the boot up to the knob. The si knob also had two clips for the above reason, while the non-si models did not.
