the lights looks fine where they are.
thanks, i love them.. last night was the first time ive driven with them at night and its just 10X better than halogens
yeah i too have a 6000k kit, its better than halogens but you cnat see s**t down the road. i tried aiming them down to stop as much glare as possible but then i coudlnt see anything myself. Is there anyhting i can do to improve the glare without doing a retrofit?
i got my BOSCH 6000k HID kit a little while back. i love them. the light output is ok. mine aren't that scattered. and i've driven behind ppl and asked them if i blind them. so far no complaints.
you can pickup TSX/TL
some BMW
some other Misc Acura
and other Misc. HID OEM Projectors
off of ebay for anywhere from $50-$300
quit being cheap before you kill someone with that s**t.

Unless he gets something around the $300 range. At that point I'd say a waste of money IMO

Even ghetto TYC projectors would be better then those OEM housings with those HID's in there (i know he said he doesnt want that type of projector, i dont blame him).
I just checked Ebay and Misc. websites.
Average, TSX and tl projectors are selling for $180-$200 shipped.
$200 to do something the RIGHT way, not the cheap "well it looks cool" way?
Why do you think i dont have HID's? Because i dont have the $$$ to buy, and fit the projectors out of something. Therefore ill save my $100 and spend it on something more useful...
not bad....but even still i have the 10k and there still twice as bright than halogens....so whatever to you guys that are saying your just sacrificing light for color...
plus i got mine for 80 bucks shipped on ebay brand new.....they look exactly like any other brand....you guys are just paying more for the name....

cool dude, but the light is all over the place. I was thinking about puting HIDs in my headlights but looking at your pictures I dont think I want to anymore. I live out in the boonies where its pitch black out here when theres no moon so I really need to see s**t. I guess I'm going to have to go with my retrofit.
And a lot of you guys really need to do some research into lighting, because it seems like half of you dont know what you are talking about, especially you who say you can see so much better with 10000K HIDS.
If you want color, find a real HID projector and retro it into your headlight. The factory HIDs you see on the street off factory cars have color only because some of their projectors have a color tint to them. All their bulb temperatures are around 4300-5000 only which is the best possible light output.
If you dont want to do a retrofit, you can possible custom make your own casper shield or buy some. But I dont know if anyone has ever made their own. I plan to make my own shields if my retro plan fails.

6k and down are the best to see the street anything higher is crap.
