ever sense I installed my PnP hid's some of my interior lights have been dimming/burning out. On my cluster the middle LED is out, then will turn out after about 15 minutes or so. However, my AC and Back defroster button LED have completely burned out and now I'm starting to see my climate controls are dimmer. Is this just becasue my cars an 01 and I need to switch out the bulbs or is something wrong here?

Any help is appreciated, thanks

They actually should be running on less power. HID's only need 35w of power compared to halogen 55w. If you want...find some spare halogen bulbs, put them in and see how things are doing...then compare.

i think its just a coincidence that your bulbs are burning out. Are you running any other high powered electronics in your car, like a crazy sound system or anything? I started having battery problems after i installed my hids, but in reality, genuine rolla is correct, they only run 35w, compared to 55w on stock halogens. Only other possibility to why it would be doing that, is if you have a short within your electrical system or something.

those bulbs burn out cause they suck. ive never seen one that lasted more than a few months. either wired wrong or they get too hot and die. every led in my car is all custom, so i know its wired the right way and will last the life of the car and longer.

Check voltage on Alternator. Replace if low.

Thats what happen to me, all my interior lights started dimming off. Checked and saw the voltage was way low on the alternator, replaced it and now its perfectly fine :D

Weird, maybe a bad wire is causing some arcing in your wire, could potentially cause fire man!
