OK i post early i was getting turbo and got it. again i got 96 civic with B18A1 motor from an integra with stock internals. got a t3/t4 Turbonetics. ok i bought come with everything like blow off value piping and everything like that. i got boost gauge and timer and turbo control. also the bigger radiator thats supposed to go with the motor instead of the civic one. also the oil lines and gaskets. now i am only going to run 8psi on stock internals and wondering what else i need. and also i know probably going to have to tune it but anybody know how bad it will be at first until i get it tune. thanks for any help i can get

dont run the motor unless you have a basemap chipped for the ecu...... turbo + no tune = bad!

what ecu are you running? are you obd 0,1,or 2? you'll need bigger fuel injectors as well....

hmm...what year motor is it? do you know where your ecu is? it should be under the dash on the pass side under the carpet.......take off the 4 screws on the front cover and look to see what number it is....should be like p29, pm6, etc........

How do you know the piping will fit? Sometimes you won't even be able to drive your car untill it's tuned and if it does turn on and go, don't drive it! That is unless you are driving it to the dyno to get it tuned but do not hit boost at all.

chipping a ecu allows you to change fuel/ignition maps, and add alot of other s**t too....

all this is required or else your engine will pop lol

i suggest you drop the car off at a tuner with all the parts and tell them to install it and tune it, othwise install all the parts and tow it over there without starting it at all. dont want to risk it.

as far as engine management, i suggest hondata: http://hondata.com . there are other alternatives such as uberdata and chrome. talk to your local tuner and see which one would work. and also you will need bigger injectors.

dont put it on till u have the money to tune it, do it right the first time so ur not going back and replacing a blown up motor.

Good rule of thumb is when your making the trip to the tunner. Wire open the waste gate and blow off valve.

yeah it sucks checking on tuning shop and i dont have one that is closer than 2 hrs away. but thanks for advice i am now thinking about building up the other motor i have sitting at my mech. needs to be rebuild but thinking about doing it right on that motor instead of running with my stock internals on this one.
