save you the time though. I didn't do them at first, wish i had.Just using new stock bolts for now. Once I start boosting, Ill get ARP studs. No sense in using them now, w/a basically stock motor.
The oil jet? Actually, it wasent even in the block. Which is wierd.....you did pull out that one plug for the oil right? On the short block

Yea, it wsent even in the block. Its a Y7 block, and that hole for the orface was empty....didnt make any sense to me.I see you've already taken the oil control oriface out so vtec is a go. I'd use the y8 headgasket if I were you.
Meh...Im not too worried. I checked the head over and over, and theres nothing wrong with it. I guess we'll see after its running.nice progress but the color of that oil would concern me
