ok my civic wont stop idleing from 1500 to 3500 and i cleaned out the iacv and it still does it even whe it warms up ive had this problem b4 on other civics but it is usually the iacv. so i cleaned it out but it still does it.
the problem started when i took my stock intake manifold off and got a skunk2 intake manifold.it just idles from 1 to 3,5 and you can hear it idleing like taht so i dont hink the tach is the problem. i have dsm 450cc bluetop injectors ..i also cleaned out the iacv and that didnt help i got the tps set to 5 voltsre- do your fuel s**t....pump, filter, oil, injectors, plugs and wires, air filter, and get that spray to spray into your mani while the car is on. also, spend some money to run mid grade in that s**t. i did all that and my s**t idles AT 720RPM, VERY WELL, and very quiet too. also, does it sound like its running tht high? if it doesnt, it may just be your tach thats off.
yea of course i wouldnt have 450cc injectors for no reason its a turbo cardo you have anything that needs the support of those injecotors?
yea i was goin to try and spray some wd 40 on it 3maro cuase the car is to loud to do it at night and ill see if there is a leakspray brake clean on your intake manifold gasket. if the car studders, you have a vacumn leak. my guess is you have a leak. dont listen to these people who say start replacing fuel pump and all that s**t.

mine idling between 400 and 500.ok so i toke the intake manifold off and changed the intake gasket checked all the hoses for cracks and put it back together it still idles the same but when it warms up it starts idling from 1200 to 2200 but when its cold its goes to like 3200 i cant figure out why its idleing like this
