My mortgage is $1,080 a month. If you pay that there, I would move. But thats just me.

My rent isn't that far off, and I have a broke GF in school so that all comes out of my paycheck. And no I don't plan on moving to Madison to save $ on rent. I guess there's a reason you live there n I live here, you don't see me making comments about you for livin in the boonies do ya? Rent in Chicago is expensive no matter where you go, there's no going around it.

chicago has astronomical rates compared to the rest of the midwest... it's like california, just not as bad... this is why a handful of counties in northwest indiana are in the same time zone as chicago, just about everyone there commutes.

but imho, living in the city is awesome and worth the extra money

I got 4800 in the bank, 1500 still coming and whatever else I can scrounge up. But I dunno how long I'll be working @ the dub, getting written up this month for sales, not much lined up for next month, so part of me wants to wait n see what happens, the other wants to buy this.
