Im a recent convert from owning a cb7 (1990-1993 accord)....So Im pretty new to this whole civic scene.

Anyways heres my new found addiction...Its a 1998 Honda Civic Si....Its got 185000 km (115000 miles) on it....No rust...which is a wonderful thing considering my beloved accord was getting eaten away by rust....Heres some preliminary pictures

Its fairly dirty right now...but in Edmonton its next to impossible to keep a car clean for longer than 15 min.

My immediate plans are:
red/clears (bought and awaiting arrival)
blackhousing with HID retro (very soon also)
Dropped on neuspeed coilovers
maybe paint the rims...undecided on that though

Future plans are:
Some sort of lip kit...gotta research more though
rear disc conversion
Swap...probably b18....though if I can manage to save some money maybe a k series lol
Different rims
Random pieces ill want as I come across them
Keep it clean

Im a little overwhelmed by the amount of support offered for civics lol...Im used to having to make do with the limited parts available for my old accord...and now the sky is pretty much the limit so I got tons of research ahead of me

Anyways...let me know what you guys think

LOL...Its off...these pictures were from right when I got the car 3 weeks ago...that sticker lasted maybe 2 days haha

Thanks for the comments though guys...there won't be much progress to report for a little while...not cuz of lack of parts but cuz of lack of time...tons of parts are gonna be accumulated the put on all at once

how is that considered an Si.....unless the engine is swapped.........?
Canadian Si...which is American EX....thats why I put the Cdn in the title...I dunno why honda changed the badging between the US and Canada but they did it with accords too...its odd....but its all stock....for now

Thanks 89hatchrider....I shall keep everyone updated on my upcoming modifications....I cant wait to get started on modifiying...I hate driving around in a stock car lol

yay for another cpg
Thanks guys

Im wondering what your guys opininos would be on painting the rims?....I figure that since they came with the car and I know they wont be a permanent thing I should try something thatll make them more my own.

I was thinking about gold...or bronze...but Im worried that those colours will look stupid or ugly...anybody have any other suggestions?

I'd say maybe a deep, dark bronze. I've seen that color on some other Civic rims and it looks good.

Definitely gold or bronze. Another member (JEZEK) always said that black or gunmetal makes green cars look dirty and I would have to agree.
