1999-2000 sir strut bars

I am just wondering I own a 1997 hatchback and I just recently bought a 99-2000 sir strut bar but on my hatch there isin't the screws to bolt that bar down to so I went to honda today and they only have the top fastners so now what do I do and can anyone post pictures of these bars on there hatchbacks.

I'm thinking you have to drill holes to fit the bar.

its the two bolts on the shock tower. you have to unbolt them and put it on there
thats what it looks like from every pic i've seen with the oem strut bar

Incorrect info. You have to drill holes to mount it. If you look right above your top hats there is actually divots as to where the holes would be. I used the bar as a guide to drill holes. After you drill the holes you just have to go get some grade 8 nuts and bolts that will fit the holes.

Exactly, you come up from the underside (from the wheel well) with the bolt. The reason they only have the top half is because on the Si / SiR chassis, bolts were welded in place from Honda.
