i have a 99 ex with stock interior. i have someone that will give me brand new carpet in black for FREE....do you think this would look semi-ok?...with the stock interior?

its just that the color of the interior panels are like a dark dark blue i think
you could always dye or paint interior that would give you a nice little project to do.
actually maybe they are dark greyish..haha thats stupid that i dont know lol...but yea screw it. im just gonna do it. i have the carpet here at my house and im on spring break so ill try and do it this week...hell its freeGo for it bro. I think black carpet would look sexy. Your panels are dark blue? Mine are dark greyish lol.

do it man, i dyed my carpet black, wwwaaaayyyyy better. especially cause it was stained from before. i hate light color interiors! its kind of a pain though. you have to remove rear seat, rear panels, front seats, center and shifter console, front side panels. i literally had my whole car gutted for a weekend to dye me carpet. kinda weird when i had to drive around but worth it in the end.

i used this thing called dye rit. they sell it at like hobby stores/wal-mart/target. its comes in a small box in different colors. i did my carpet and my rugs. took a whole weekend in my dorm room. i suggest you have a lot of space and lots of time. especially if you want good dark and deep black, put many thick layers and let it dry completely. i put one good layer and after it dryed up, it came out a dark dark grey rather then a black. it just looked darker cause it was wet. Expect to have your carpet out for a good week. its kinda cool tho. your car is almost fully gutted, if you have an exhaust, the cabin is really loud. .What did you use to dye your carpet and how did you do it?
