yea after trading the teg i got something else to throw my taste at, my fav honda model, the EK hatchback.Now that i start workin again ill have some funds to put torwards my car,heres a few things id like to do the civic.

1. Get a motor mount so i can get this pile on the road,and fix the idle problem.-DONE.
2. Straighten up the body lines-due to 99 front end conversion, last owner hacked it together.
3. front and rear lip- undecided.
4. Paint the HX rims either with polished lip- undecided on what color.
5. Part together a reliable D series turbo kit,get installed,get tuned.
6. Repaint black or white-MAACO MOFO.

i personally like painted headlights on black hatches better than stock and i guess thats all that really matters.

yea doesnt seem as bad as i was picturing lol...but whats with the pink rims idea? dont do anything crazy, the red with polish lip i would like to see..they would look nice if done right

Headlights: Do the Depo CTR replica headlights on Ebay for like 100 bucks. Sell your stock ones for 25 each. The CTR replicas will end up costing you like 50 bucks. Im pretty sure the JDM-police won't come out and arrest you if they don't say "Stanley".

Now the turbo: good luck. Don't ebay that. Save your money for the quality goods on what matters!

LOVE those rims. They almost look stock, which is great. Playing around with some paint on them could make them better, as I see you have mentioned. But, don't ruin them with a "fad" color like pink or red that was "hot" on the scene for all of like 3 weeks. My advice would be to go with something what will KEEP looking classy ten years from now, like black or gunmetal. Just my opinion.

Other than that, man, this is a GREAT place to start. Finding an ek hatch period is quite the feat, much less one that has the 99-00 front end. So, great find, and good luck!

what kinda condition are your headlights in....are they oem cause to save you the time of the diy...we could possibly trade my black house ones for your stock ones
