Turbo Rotation

This may sound stupid but, can you rotate the compressor housing(cool side) of the turbo to point the turbo outlet in a different direction(down in my case)? How do I do that?

just unbolt the housing, clock it whatever way you want it to face, bolt it back down...

ive never had to deal with one when i was clocking a housing... it was just bolts.

I have with a garrett t25 and mitsubishi 19t. They are a pain in the ass if the compressor housing has not been clocked or has slight rust. Solution for me was to let oil soak in and put muscle into it.
