Is there a way to freshen up the polish on a intercooler? Mine is kinda looking it's age and just want it to shine again.

Thanks I'll do that. How did you mount yours. Mine was custom built, and in their infinite wisdom didn't include and mounting brackets welded to it.

just curious why you guys paint an intercooler?

you're basically insulating a radiator...
and of all colors.. black..

if you'r worried about steath, why not just get a sidemount?

Side mount efficiency = blah... compared to front mount.

& what do you think painting a front mount does?
its heat dissipating paint made for radiators so it doesnt heat sink. it had no effect on my intake air temp

Basically he said "SHUT THE f**k UP!" :word:

By the way Mugenkid, did you happen to take pics of the process while you were doing it.

I'm looking to go turbo this year and I would like to know how to paint the IC and FMIC black to cover it up

Thanks in advance

there wasnt anything difficult about it. just make sure you prep the surface of the piping if it is polished so the paint will stick. i taped off the ends of the pipes and the intercooler inlet and outlet so it wouldnt get paint on them b/c it would be a problem when putting the clamps back on. and dont paint it while its on the car  be sure to take everything off and paint it seperately

I like it. Although I think it would look bad ass with the polished FMIC and the black piping; but looks great man.
