Well I was on my way home from school to MA when I shot a rod through my block. Got a big chunk missing under the intake manifold. Serves me right, I was boosting way too much on the stock internals. 15psi on a T3/T4 57trim. I had just ran a 13.5@105 last weekend.

So anyone selling a block? :lol::lol:

I'll get pics up when I find a camera.

oh oh I have a b16a3 block.

Wait, 15psi and only a 13.5? I think it was the tune that was off, not the boost.

You realize that you have to tune a turbo motor right?

Haha it was tuned very well actually. 12s AFR in boost and conservative timing. It was at 15psi because my motor was very not healthy. I didn't do a compression test but I bet it was in the low 100's across the board. The car had never been tuned up or probably never even had an oil change before I got to it at 140k miles. I've been boosting for about 10k and am not approaching 170k.

Can I mount the Y7 head onto that B16 block :lol: I want to just get a shortblock. Preferably a Y7 but a Y8 will work too. Pics to come soon.

i have a whole ls vtec Turbo build i will sell to you. its got forged everything, everything is new and i also have a ctr lsd transmission

I find a 13.5, on 15psi, to be about right. It's not a type-r motor or anything, I'm surprised it didn't pop earlier.

Good luck on finding a motor though!

I have a seized d16y8 block for cheap; spun a bearing but i don't believe there was any damage. If you're interested I will take it apart to make sure
