Little Update, couple pics.

I already started taping, just ran out of masking tape so I needed to come get my CC fix. Damn is it ever hard to tape it all up, been going for 2 hours and I think I'm almost done. In real life it looks more busy than in the pictures. I want it that clean glossy look all around, so only painting will give me that.

Dammit man, one paint can I had was a dud and kept spitting blotches all over the place! Right now the back is looking pretty bad, I'm pissed. Gonna do a 3rd coat soon here and let it dry then sand out the blotches the best I can this evening. Going to do a bunch of coats and some clear in the end.

Don't worry, I'll post some pictures of it, IN YOUR THREAD, in a couple days.

3rd coat turned out nice, so I'm a bit happier. It's pretty hard to cover all the old paint, still looks pale and not so gloss white. Gonna sand it down, then another 3 coats, then some clear. I hope it just doesn't peel down the road, I don't got patience to wait more than a hour between coats, haaa.

Finished a 5th coat, all the bubbles are pretty much gone. It's lookin' good now, pretty clean. Ready for about 2 coats of clear then rip out all the tape. Pictures by Thursday hopefully.

Don't bump mine, I want to make a new thread when I'm happy with how it looks. I'm thinking mid June I should have the new motor in, with a moderate tuck, gutted rear with tuck/paint, rims and slammed. Gettin' good with my DSLR so hopefully I can get some good shots.
