I want to add some switches to my car for different things. I want to eventually complete a list of upgrades.

1. Wire my own fog lights.
2. Add Neon tubes under the dash.
3. Add Neon tubes under the car.
4. Add a switch powered "remote" cable for my audio system, to be powred without the need of the car keys.

I know how to install the switches, I just don't know where so they look good and orderly. The car already has a button I can us for the fog lights, and it has another space where there's a non-used rocker switch...but for the tubes and sound system I'd like to ahve them ordered on one single panel.

Maybe someone here has done it and could assist me?

My car is a 99 CX.

Thanks in advance.

idk about your car, but by the handbrake you should have 4 little block off plates that pop out. Those spaces can be used for switches.

If you try to run your sound system without your alternator, your going to drain the battery.
And you will get sick of the under the dash lights, i know i did.

x2. The neons under the dash get old real quick as well as unwanted attention from the fuzz at night.

I did this too...drilled a hole in most every pop out piece there was..and just ended up going to the junkyard to get some replacement pieces for it.

If you really want to get neon's etc...we will be here to help you get it all sorted out.

You could try mounting them in the glove box, back side. Out of sight. Please dont hack up any interior pieces that are noticable. If that helps!

If you are going to do it..go to the junkyard and get some more of those pieces so that you'll be able to replace them when you want to.
