EK fogs---> EG bumper (problem) ?!?

Here are the pics of my DIY, since i know everyone likes to see pics...
my problem is that after all my hard work, my bumper doesn't want to bolt back up since i did not account for the space that the fog light casing occupies behind the bumper...Therefore the back of the fogs hit the frame of the car preventing me from properly resting the bumper in the position it 's supposed to be in!

Question:
who has a link to an install of this type, i'm REALLY curious to know how it looks like from the back of the bumper cover! Thanks,

how come you just didn't get the fogs that were meant for your car? eg's came with ones that fit into the slots perfectly.

Looks nice man, this is the first time I've seen ek foggies look clean on a eg. I've only seen them screwed from the front and it looks tacky

Looks dumb, and search if you want to see pictures. This has been covered way too many times.

they look way to big in comparison to the headlights. The EK have much bigger headlights which look good with those fogs... i don't like it.

hmm... I guess for the most part, most don't know how to read...but I guess it's a typical internet forum as the others, ask a question for advice and you get bashing from all ends...

anyone feel like helping out? if you've got nothing good to say, don't bother posting...kids..

Not sure if I like it. Maybe once you get everything back together.
Good luck to you

Ok i will admit they do like kind of large in comparison to the headlights, but i dont think it looks stupid at all. They look really nice on that white one ^^^

I think EK fogs in EG bumpers look much better than the EG ones. Anyway, this has been done many times so you should be able to find some info somewhere. Are the fogs quality or are they cheap EBAY stuff? that could have something to do with the problem. Are you sure no modification needs to be done to the frame behind the bumper?

Hope this help you. Sorry dont know much english.
I did the conversion twice. The first one wasnt good. The second time was better.
Ok first of all I have a sedan with a coupe/hatch bumper, which is a lot closer to the frame of the car than the sedan one. So I think that I had very small space to place the EK fogs.

First, I took of all of the brackets of the foglight and make an aluminum plate to hold the fog light.

Then you shoul drill some holes to the frame of the car to put the screws and hold the fog light. Check the foglight bezel with the bumper.
If the foglight bezel is still outside, wich I dont kown for the coupe or hatch, you have to trim the inside part of the bezel until it fits into place. Notice: the red circle is the area that you have to trim.

This is the second bumper which was the better one:

Then I got tired of the EK fog and put coupe/hatch oem bumper with no fogs. I like it better. This is the new look of my car. Dont have more pics.

hey, thanks alot angelcolton841! I will surely use some elements of your install.
maybe i'll be able to finish it this weekend!

some one asked, earlier in the thread about the brand of the lights:
I'm installing Depot fogs, people say that they're better than the ebay ones. I've never seen the ebay ones, but so far i think that depot makes good products.
