oh i should add

that i get that mileage with no o2 sensor.

meaning it doesnt matter if i shift at 2k rpm under 15% throttle, or with the pedal to the floor at 7500 and 7psi

i get the same mileage all the time

I think some of you guys are over excaggerating (I cant spell)

I do an average of 130miles per week.
I used up about 5 gallons of gas per week
So a lil math and Im doing an average of 26 miles per gallon

Please do tell exact modifications, VXs barely get that much.

Stock 92 DX Hatch - 29mpg with a CAI, 32-34 without it (mostly city driving). I'm pulling the CAI soon. :(

You don't get good gas mileage, and what is exaggerating when I go 170 miles on 4.7 gallons. still was above half a tank which would mean on city and highway average I get 36 mpg. I'm tuned on an s100 so the tune is optimal for the toys I have.

you should be getting better gas millage with the cai... my 1st car was a 94 Camry with a 3.0v6 and i got 19-21 before i put on my cai and exhaust... but after i was getting 23-25... cuz if a car breaths better it changes the a/f ratio and uses more air... but if your computer dosnt change or if you 02 censor is staring to go it wouldnt change the a/f ratio and make you get bad gas millage any way...

my car has ram air, stock exhaust (soon to have 2.5" cat back), lowered, 16" rotas, no ac/pwr steering, and when i went through emissions my car passed better than my parents 06 matrix... just barley better but still better... and when i saw 42.5mpg when i did the math i thought that it was wrong... but i checked... i use full synthetic 5w30 in my engine and trany and those 4 prong spark plugs and the upgraded plug wires

I just did the math and without even emptying my tank all the way... I get 600KM so... 375 Miles. I did the math and it is saying that I am getting 40.54 miles to the gallon.

I'm driving a stock 95 CX, only mod is a ram-air intake and it barelly affected my gas (from what i can tell) and i'm getting around 30-33 street miles. and i don't have a heavy foot since it wouldn't matter anyways, My CX is slow.
My mustang get's about 11 MPG
