the Apexi WS2 sounds pretty nice, i just youtubed it. to be more specific about the exhaust, i'd want an exhaust that sounds really sweet when i punch it, and mellow and not obnoxious when im cruising through town, aka i dont wanna stick out like a sore thumb when i roll by cops sounding like a lawn mower lmao.

by the way 808, what kinda rims are those on your civic? those are very similar to the ones i'd want on my car :thumbs up

i have nice projectors with halos. black housings. IMO i like them a real lot. they give better light output than my stock ones.

1) 808, what size rims are those?

2) redej6, i think i might go with 15''s cause i here 16's are the biggest u can go for a civic. but i'd also be lowering my car, so i dunno if 16's would be that well compatible for that.

3) ienjoi those are sexy headlights, i havent looked into headlights/tail lights yet, if anyone got links to some ownage ones, PLZ LINk!

check out the rim pic i put up for my 1st post, those are basically what i want also, but not with the chrome rim, u can look at the photoshopped picture towards the middle of the 1st page of those very same rims put onto my car, they stick out like a sore thumb to me...they DO look really sexy, but too flashy IMO

As for intake, any $40 eBay intake will do the same as the $300 ones. Just make sure you get a brand name filter like K&N or AEM Dry Flow.

Just a suggestion: go name brand. You can feel your way through all the autozone specials and ebay knockoffs, and if you're not satisfied - which you probably won't be - you'll likely wind up spending just as much money as you would've if you'd have just done it right the first time. 'Cause you'll keep replacing junk with junk. Alternatively, for under $200, you can get a brand new Injen intake from ebay or an online merchant. You can get an AEM CAI for about $250 shipped. You can get a short stack for not much more than half that. In terms of power there may or may not be a huge difference (and of course the gain from an intake is minimal in the long run anyway), but as for fitness and those qualities that generate customer satisfaction, a good name-brand piece is the way to go. You get proper fitment, a warranty, and the pleasure of knowing that you're going top of the line. Previous vehicles, I've done the budget stuff, and was never really happy. This time around I'm doing name brands (Eibach>>>>Arospeed), and it really makes a huge difference.

It's only a suggestion though, maybe your concept of satisfaction differs from mine.

start browsing the for sale section. you can find alot more there, name brand, for less. you'll find way better deals with used parts and be much happier with the money left over.

hehe, jason did you say arospeed? def. NOT top of the line. its like a step up from APC. more like half a step probably

and an ebay intake with an AEM dryflo filter = AEM short ram but at like 1/10th the price. either one, however, will not show any performance improvements on a stock D motor

honestly, youre better off leaving the entire engine stock and just work on the body, interior, and suspension
