Exactly. First time around, I went with Arospeed suspension stuff, figuring it'd get the job done and save me money. This time I went with Eibach, which is of course just as good as about anything I'd care to pay for... and the differences are HUGE.
haha.. im just being a d**k my friend.. ive blown like 4 sohc in the last year. they are great motor's if you put ALOT of cash into it. but if u do, just go b-series, or k if you have the cash.
but if its your daily driver sohc is the s**t rite now cause of gas.. if I were you. I would
1. slam it to hell.
2. put no bigger than 16's
3. add on and on from there.
The lips he has are the OEM optional 1998 Honda Civic coupe lips. As mentioned before, the front lip in particular is very rare. The rear lip is also rare, though quite a bit easier to find.
The original price for the lip kit (front, rear and sideskirts which are painted) was $1149 from the dealer.

Keep stock headlights and taillights. They're legal and when cleaned up will look really good. Altezzas and euro lights often will turn pinkish from red.
A short ram intake will just make you lose low end, a cold air intake will increase the chances of you seriously damaging your engine. Neither will do anything besides make your car louder. To get a comparable sound, remove the resonator from within the passenger side of the front bumper.
I'd really recommend you do a good detail to your car. It looks like you're going to already need to remove the front lip and get it repaired, so if you can you might want to also get the front bumper repainted too and any other parts which might be damaged enough.
Before you do any modifications, read, read, READ! It's a lot more fulfilling to do things right than to screw it up on impulsiveness and then need to fix what you did before.
Oh, and your trunk emblems are in the wrong places btw. It'd look better imo if it had a stock H too.
Just a suggestion: go name brand. You can feel your way through all the autozone specials and ebay knockoffs, and if you're not satisfied - which you probably won't be - you'll likely wind up spending just as much money as you would've if you'd have just done it right the first time. 'Cause you'll keep replacing junk with junk. Alternatively, for under $200, you can get a brand new Injen intake from ebay or an online merchant. You can get an AEM CAI for about $250 shipped. You can get a short stack for not much more than half that. In terms of power there may or may not be a huge difference (and of course the gain from an intake is minimal in the long run anyway), but as for fitness and those qualities that generate customer satisfaction, a good name-brand piece is the way to go. You get proper fitment, a warranty, and the pleasure of knowing that you're going top of the line. Previous vehicles, I've done the budget stuff, and was never really happy. This time around I'm doing name brands (Eibach>>>>Arospeed), and it really makes a huge difference.
It's only a suggestion though, maybe your concept of satisfaction differs from mine.
LOL.. A warranty on an intake? What can it possibly cover? Pipe rusting? Breaks? Leaks? lol if it DOES rust, its going to cost more to ship and waste time waiting for the replacement then to get a new $25 pipe haha.

thanks for the info man! yeah, i had the stock emblem....until some f**kin a*****e back in high school went around and jacked like 20 car emblems (me being one of the victims) from my schools parking lot a couple years ago. so my dad like a moron decided to put some ugly white one....WITH SUPER GLUE......im def going to replace it with another stock H, but i dunno the cost for removing a super glued emblem...aka prolly need to sand off the glue and repaint and your pics are real nice man, im glad someone has the same kit as me so i can see how nice it can REALLY be!!! and TY for the info about the intake, i wouldnt wanna lead my car into motor problems, ill prolly just keep whats under the hood stock, and just buff out the looks and interior of my car (as stated by others). Which leads me to another question.....what about exhaust...i really wanna exhaust still...would that lead to any long term damage? and lastly, my car has exactly 63,068 miles on it, its still basically a "new born" in honda years, and im planning on keeping it for many years to come. do you think its useless to put in engine work as the mileage goes up? (possibly a couple years from now when i save up enough $$$) or do you think NOW is the best time to take advantage and beef up whats under the hood while its engine life is still young?
as for my body kit issue, the front lip is kinda dinked up, the bottom corners are pretty sanded from the pavement from the previous owner and somewhat from myself . basically saying the bottom of the front lip piece is flat, i dunno if the bran new OEM front lip had a rounded/curvy bottom to it. so my point being....you think the body shop can deal with it? or do you think they'd say "this is a rare piece, and we cant fix it up" or would that only be a matter if i had totally cracked the s**t out of my front lip (beyond repair)?

for starters, maybe u could clean the damn thing for that kinda money, u could repaint the front lip.from there, get some lowering springs, better shox, and 15s or 16s.preferably j-spec rims.17s might be cool too, depending on the rim design though.just my 2cents
Fix em holes and touch up dents, scratches, etc. I WOULD keep em lips. YOU can start by cleaning your car. Make it clean and keep it shiny. Wash, Clay, Glaze, then Wax! I would go for the Look on exterior first.
I would spend $ on
> NEW RIMS (Polish lip is hot)
> UPGrade Sound System (amp (s), Sub (s), speakers)
> LOw it
> To hell w/ intake, exhuast system, lighting, etc. Save up the rest for maintenance.
RACING CHIPS! what about those? do those benefit ex's at all? you knooooo, new computer system, can get more out of your gearssss......anyone? if so, LINKS to some really good ones. TY!
