No block gaurd. Also, dont focus on a PSI, focus on a horse power level. Stock B series sleeves will safely hold horse power levels into the mid 300's. After that your motors life span will start to shorten pretty fast.

weve never used any block gaurds in our builds, never had any sleeve failures even above 500whp.

no.. get one.. dude.. you have been asking and asking and asking constantly if you should get one or not. everyone said no dont get one over and over, and yet you are still asking the question.. which to me means that you really really want one no matter what everyone says. You have tons of feedback on this same exact topic in your other thread in the FI section, go read it, here is your link in case you forgot: http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=143613

Theres always gunna be a few ppl that say to use em, but the reality is sleeves are better if your pushin high power, or if you just want assurance spend that money on better parts or a better tune.

lets put it this way......block guards are as useless as blox LCA's, password jdm locking oil caps, and spoon oil filters. they are just manufactured out of hype and so u can just say that u possess one

is that enough to show you not to get one? or do you still want a few more ppl not to get one?

forget block gaurds. they mess with the cooling too much and also brace the cyclinders at the wrong spot. go with block posts instead.

i think its an issue at a specific point on the cylinder wall, rather than an overall heating issue

^ Werd, they create hot spots that rob power. They shouldnt cause a high water temp condition.
