That last shot is killer peter, i love it. For being a car show type of shot, the car is definitly grabbing my attention. I guess its the Bokeh.

I had a buddy's lens I was using for that shot...i think it was the 70-200 or something. I had the f-stop as low as it could go.

yeah, im used to shooting w/ a 70-300 getting mad bokeh, its just something about the blur along the bottom, looks "fake" i like it, either way....just curious is all

Yea i was also going to comment on the sharpness of the shot..

No EXIF because some one uses "Save for web".... lol

I did add more blurriness to the front of it because that was the kind of look i was going for...but I haven't been able to get it down just right.

to small and i enjoy the better iso quality of the 40d and i like the wheel instead of having to push that av button for aperture.

went to a bmw driving school at a local track, a couple weeknds ago. i was marshalling but i managaed to take my dads xt with me. it was my first time using a dslr, and its gonna suck using a p+s from now on. i used an old tamron 28-200 lens which wasnt the greatest, but it was definately better then the kit lens as the cars were pretty far away.
