ive painted the front end since its a 99-00 and i had to paint it frost white... unfortunatly i got another hood at a later time which is taffeta. if you look you can tell it kinda bugs me. if its cost effective sometime in the future i think a full repaint of type r white would be nice. but otherwise my paint is stock, great condition. i suppose even a recoat of frost with a nice clear would be great too.

You'll laugh at me but i'm actually using the sockets that you find in the 99-00 sedan inner tail lights. Those hold 194 bulbs as well. I'll have pics of my city lights tonight.

Hey Petey check out my DIY. After reading what you used for city lights I took some corner lamp sockets from my brother-in-law's old 86 crx si that he was gonna dump. I had to modify them by triming and cutting a little where it locks. Tell me what you think . . . .

Also where did you hook up your wires to ? Parking lights, toggle switch ? LMK Thanks ! =)
That looks pretty good man. What kind of headlights do you have..? I didn't end up having enough time to work on them today because a friend came over right after i posted that i was going to work on them. so..tomorrow morning, that is going to be my project.

pete pete pete....lemme know.

Got a new lip again! I am looking for an SiR but I got an mugen.
can't wait to see the new pics. I'll post up my city light pics tomorrow evening. Getting amber bulbs for them as well.

anyone know where i can get piaa city light bulbs?
Brosef, i heard the raybrig 168's are pretty bright.

I bought the headlights about 5yrs. ago for $450. I think they're CTRs as you can see they had the city lights hole in them already and the box that it came in was from Honda w/ Japanese writing on them. They have the HONDA STANLEY stamp on bottom portion. At certain angles the heads look like a dark chrome instead of chrome itself. Correct me if I'm wrong about if it's CTRs.

yea, sounds are just ocilattions at frequencies you can hear.. this stuff dampens the vibration of what its attached to reducing the frequency to a level the human ear cant hear. also the backing layer provides a physical barrier in addition to the damping material to reflect certain frequencies.

"Acoustic Loss Factor- a measure of the ability to reduce structural borne sound. It represents how much vibration related energy is absorbed by the material at a given temperature. Based on a linear scale of 0 - 1, with 0 being an undamped steel panel and 1 being a theoretically perfectly damped panel (no vibration). The higher the ALF, the more effective the material is. Also known as Damping Loss Factor (DLF)"
