you'll be paying more money in the long run with those cheap ebay kits. don't forget to factor in money for tuning too. if you're going to half-ass it, then save your money and spend it somewhere else.

i think you should piece your own kit together, i pieced my cousin's turbo kit for $1000 with good parts: some cheap ebay parts some brand name parts, and then just paid $250 for a street tune

I agree. If you're not sure what you're getting into you could definitely end up spending a lot more in the long run.

Do some research first. Think about your plans as well. No point spending a ton of money going one direction and then figuring out you have to take most of it off because you want to do something else.

I'm a bit guilty of all of this. Didn't do enough research on my first turbo kit (not so much how turbos work, but the kit itself). Had tons of problems, didn't make the power it was supposed to, burned everything, drove like s**t, etc. Just too many design flaws and shortcuts. Had to pull it off and sell it. Now i'm spending a ton of money for a complete new turbo design. Absolutely no compromises this time!

well, right now im in the process of building the motor its going on block up, everything performance so hopefully the motor will handle the turbo and nitrous express kit i bought
