unfortunately i kinda want to get a wheel with an airbag. my car is still a DD.

there's definitely an increase in volume of the exhaust and road noise with a gutted interior. sounds like the inside of a beer can. the only downfall is that you kinda throw off the balance of the car unless you keep a full tank of gas . i noticed more understeer after gutting, then when i went boost all that extra weight in the front didnt help

oh well then that works perfectly. I just had that situation above happen to me this past weekend and with my civic as my daily - yeah... threesomes > stripped back seats.

Seriously though, props to a clean job done. And you'll love the recaros. I'd also keep that steering wheel

Yeah, cause I hear they're kind of a pain for daily (like if you drop a quarter you cant grab it) and then also it wouldn't be too safe in a roll over (unless you cage). I wanted harnesses and a bar too, but decided against it for the above reasons.

i didnt do the harness upgrade either. just not practical in a DD. and a cage isnt practical either, if you get into a wreck youre more likely to smash your head into a steel bar than live through a rollover. not to mention the lack of airbag to compound the situation. might as well stick your head in a blender and make brain-daquieries
