*New pics on pg 2*

So I was in an accident on July 2nd. I was going straight and 2 cars tried to turn left in between me and my friend in front of me. Needless to say the second car didn't make it through. Neither of us got tickets because the light was yellow when I entered the intersection even though she was claiming that I ran a red light. I am thinking that it is totaled but not sure. The serpentine belt is rubbing on something and shooting sparks everywhere. I am pretty sure their is frame damage as well. If it is gone I will have had the car over 6 1/2 years and its 403 miles shy of 100k. Now on with the cell phone pics.

Ouch bro! hopefully nobody was injured. from the looks with your phone pic's its a 50/50 if the insurance co will total it. If they do, buy it back and part it out to make cash for your next ride.

pull the bumper and fenders off to see if the frame is really bent. most likely insurance will total it, mine was less damaged and was totaled.

I am going to try and get to the body shop tomorrow after work and get some better pics of it. This is very similar to the one I had 2 yrs ago and that should have been totaled (found damage after work was almost done). I don't know if I will buy it back or not. I still have a rebuilt tranny with LSD, BNIB ACT Clutch and flywheel and Innovative billet mounts and brand new 96-98 OEM rear lip to sell for money too. Not to mention the BC N+ Spec Coilovers have less than 1,000 miles on them.

true, i guess it'll depend on how much they'll give you for it, might make more just parting everything out and keeping what you want to keep

I crashed my car last month:

And it was a little over $2k to fix.Thats because Im paying out of my pocket. Body shops usually charge more to insurance companies. My car would've ben definably totalled.

6.5 years seems like a long time to own one car. Hopefully everything works out for your, is it under the lady's premium or yours?

Damn man that sucks. If that's the way it goes out then at least you'll come out alright. None of your wheels or suspension got damaged so you'll be able to sell that off. Good luck

I still really want the car and won't be happy if its gone. I guess I will have to move on. I am working with both insurance companies now to see how things are going to work out.

If its totaled I probably won't buy it back to part out. I think I will get more if insurance cuts me a check but we will see.

7 - I couldn't get a good pic of it but the left side of the pulley is what is rubbing on the frame.
