No hating on Vdubs..but I thought Id ask you this question pete, vdub doesnt make any 5 speed auto trannys without triptonic do they? My friend has an auto golf..and he swears its a 5 speed auto. I am almost certain it isnt.

Yea, they make the auto-slap shift trannys. You can go from D over to Manual mode, and shift up or down.

I know that..thats what I said in my post. But his isn't..its just the normal auto..with nothing to shift up or down. Which is why I believe its a 4 speed. Because its just a normal auto...hmmmmm
