Yes. But SiR has been broken for a good 8+ months now.

Its not drivable right now. The Power Steering Pump Pulley is hitting the frame. Neither of us were ticketed. She claims I ran a red light even though it was yellow and there was no way of me stopping and she made a left in front of me.

6 years 9 months as of 2day. Thanks man. My plan as of now is if its not totaled out, fix it. If it is, I'm not buying it back and I am getting a new car. I don't wanna deal with all of that hassle of buying it back and parting it out and all of that. So basically they are staying on the car or getting sent to the junkyard with everything else

Still haven't heard from the insurance companies or the body shop. If she is totaled this is probably going to be my next car. 04 VW R32 with 66k miles on it.

dude, hit pretty hard... what's the reinforcement look like? by the way, it IS your car still. talk with the owner/manager at the shop, you're allowed to take anything off the car as long as you replace it with oem s**t, or something equivilent. ie: taking your wheels off and putting the steelies on to go to the junkyard, taking off your intake, strutbar, etc... i work at a shop here in cincy, people do it all the time. get a hold of me if you have any questions, don't let the insurance company f**k you over; they do it enough!!!

What about s**t like my ASR brace and rear sway? I really want my BC coilovers too as I paid over $900 for them and they have less than 500 miles on them.

yep, and the brace and sway bar should be fine seeing that you wont have to replace them with anything... the coilovers may be a pain in the ass, you still have your oem shocks/struts/springs? i know the rears would be simple to replace, the fronts would take some time though probably. call the shop and tell them whats up, tell em you have high dollar s**t and you want it back before it goes anywhere. if they're not dicks, they should help you out.. is it a shop you deal with regularly? bottom line, be cool with the shop employees, let them know you don't want the insurance to get over on you and your parts.

and, that R32 is f**kin sick.. even for a v-dub..

Car is back at my parents for the weekend. Getting the BC coils, ASR and sway, radio, shift knob, RS*R axleback, strut tower brace, engine damper, and possibly a few other things off. I don't know if you are on any of the local boards but it is vtec_chick's R32.

So totalled, even if its not, when its fixed it will NEVER be the same.


just get the R32.

It is totaled It all depends on what insurance will be.
