http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f154/motox28/adsaklsdjasd-1.jpg[IMG]
that actually turned out really good...probbly the best non-"dragan" dragan image ive seen  meaning a dragan image created by someone OTHER than the actual dragan

Thanks for the comments guys . Took about 80 pictures last night of that same sunset. And yeah the powerlines suck :(. That's the only good spot to get a perfectly clear shot of the sunset though. At least that I know of. I gotta start driving around finding spots to take pictures now.

I just bought my D40 and a Sunpack tripod (I know..I know. You don't have to tell me. I'm upgrading to a Manfrotto 30xx next week when I get paid).
055 series replaced the 30XX series

I was looking to get a 3021BPRO, but then released they dont make them anymore...

I just ordered a 055XPROB Tripod and 488RC2 head.. I thought about a grip type head but my gear is pretty heavy. The one can hold like 11lbs but still the 488 head is an awesome ball head.

For the price the Tamron is super sharp!!!! Great combo with the 40D!!!!

Money is a little tight, so instead of the Canon 24-70 2.8L i plan on getting the Tamron. I would like to replace it with the L some day.

So i shot my buddies SRT4 yesterday, and ive always wanted to do a back road looking type of shot...
Well holly reflections, man..... I hate it.. I plan on re-shooting the car some time this week at a better location.

Gear: 40D w/ grip + 70-200mm 2.8IS w/ Hoya polarizer
Exposure: 1/50, f4 @ ISO 400 (85mm focal length)
Post: Raw adjustments, Levels, curves, saturation layers and unsharp mask.

the shot came out a little soft, i was using a flimsy tripod since i sold mine.
I put up my Slik tripod for sale and it sold the next day, i wasn't expecting it to sell that fast.
I was hopping it would sell after i got my manfrotto tripod and head.

I need to invest in a better tripod, a flash and was thinking about looking into a Canon 70-200 2.8 IS, and all i see is nice stuff from it. just the price is very steep haha. so i was looking at the Tamron 70-200 2.8 no stabilizer it got a good review in Popphoto mag so i might look into it and the sigma one as well.

Dude you don't understand how much i love my 70-200 2.8IS I had to save my pennies for a while hahah.

And to think the other 2 lenses i want will cost me 2K.. You know whats funny, when i first got my 40D i
thought that was a big accomplishment.. Then i realized glass was more important and expensive.

I <3 L Glass!!! hahaha

ya i think everyone <3's Lglass, i just gotta save up but i might go with the tammy 70-200 2.8. got a good review in pop photo and they said it was better than the sigma equivalent and its 100 or so cheaper. but i will invest in the canon when i can/want to afford one haha. but right now i need to worry about a flash and memory. i know as well as you glass is more important than the body but i couldnt stand the size of the xti, it was far to small.
