Good god that thing is clean. I like your wheel combo. Pics look good man. Just a couple under/over exsposed ones. Just keep toying with the camera and you'll figure it out.

i tried some quick editing to help pull some detail out of the dark shadows, but they're just too deeply underexposed to retain anything.

it comes with experience.
check your in camera meter.
what i like to do especially when the subject is stationary is get really close to what i want to take a picture of and meter for the light hitting it. base my exposure off of that and then check the image on the screen after i snap it. you can get a general idea of how the shadows/highlights look.
