200whp you are fine with 2.5" dp/exhaust, yes it all needs to be that size or it will bottleneck the whole system rendering it useless. ic piping, use aluminum for better cooling, it releases heat quicker. keep your oil pan, dont worry. stock honda ignition is actually pretty good, alteast to the 450-500whp mark. get colder spark plugs, i prefer zex. check out horsepowerfreaks.com for yonaka intercoolers, thats what i have they are affordable
A few more questions
#1- What's that 3rd lil piece (on the right)? And do i need it?
#2-Why is this s**t 'crap'? It's an eBay turbo+manifold combo for $400 or $500
#3-So I figured this type of manifold is better for exhaust flow, and apparently this guy's not running his a/c and p/s. So if I buy one like this, i wont have a/c and p/s as well, right?
#4-I know I'll go custom but besides all the s**t that's in this pic, what else is needed to have it complete and ready for a proper install? Btw, this Greddy Turbo Kit for a 00 Ex (#11550050) costs $2675 (from from their site) and the one below, the Edelbrock #1500 (for the same car) costs around $3300. Like everyone here says "you get wat you pay for".... so why is this Edelbrock kit, in theory, better than the Greddy one when Greddy is more well known for their turbo? The Greddy says it comes with 'e-manage and 310cc injectors' and the Edelbrock says it needs no ECU modifications (or something along that way, it says "The included piggyback control unit means no additional tuning required when used on otherwise stock engines") WTH? What's the difference? Which is better? All I can tell is different is that the Greddy doesn't come with a gauge nor an intercooler. Is that the price difference?
#5-Just a 'pretty' pic. hehe
#6- "convert to OBD1 and get a P28 with at least a hondata s100..." Someone here said that in regards to installing the Edelbrock kit (or any other 'low boost' applications on a stock engine). What does that mean and does this guy make sense in what he's saying?
#7- What's a 'tranny cooler'? Shold I get one too? Is it worth w/e it might cost?
#8- and last but not least, Is GARRETT a brand or a model/type of turbo? and if it's a brand, why is my friend telling me NOT TO BUY it (a 'Garrett) from eBay?

i cant see any of the pictures...but ill try to answer the questions to my best ability.
# 1 -- ?
# 2 -- ebay mani (ss auto crome, etc) are garbage. they crack, the welds are crappy and i've heard many stories of the manifold not even lining up to the head correctly. The turbos usually have crappy seals and leak from the start. i would stay away from these kinda deals. remember you get what you pay for.
# 3 -- cant see pic
# 4 -- honestly, if i were you i would piece together a kit. you will save money, get better parts and learn alot
# 5 -- ?
# 6 -- the hondata is a way to tune the car. you need a p28 or p72 (i think) ecu to do this. also hondata has different packages...check out www.hondata.com to see what you get
# 7 -- tranny cooler will cool the transmission fluid. totally not needed.
# 8 -- garrett is a brand. they make turbos. you friend might be worried about you getting a knock off garrett turbo from ebay. again you get what you pay for. if it sounds too good to be true, then it prob is

Man, if you need all of this s**t spoon fed to you, and cant even do your own research, you probably shouldnt be turboing your car. No offense. But seriously, with this kind of modification, SO much s**t can go wrong, you NEED to know what everything is, does, and why. So with everyone just handing you answers, youll have no idea why they said this or that. Im not being a d**k, but I turbod my first car, with NO questions. I got my ass on HMT, like many people have told you to do, gone through the stickies, archives, and search engine to find what I did not know. I read other peoples build threads, experiences, etc. I know everything about the turbo kit that I have on my car, considering I picked it all out, fabbed it all up, and put it all together.
Youd be real sad if I told you to go and buy a PT67 T4, a 50mm Tial WG, Full-Race Top Mount, etc...
Do some research... But in all reality, if youre too lazy to search archives, youre too lazy to do this yourself. Go buy the Edlebrock kit, and pay your closest shop to install it. Then go wail on it without a tune.

Well this is why hes asking. Even thought here are information out there about that certain product and set up, doesnt always mean someone would understand what it all means.
