I'm pretty sure it's basically chili, chocolate, and other southern spices like cumin.

Yeah, it's kind of hard to explain tho. :???: It's sweet yet a bit bitter, a tad bit spicey but it just all some how blends together. Obviously you don't eat it just like that. It's poured over chicken and rice. Some people use other poultry like turkey or duck and there is also kind of a pork version. I like the straight OG Tex-Mex version myself.

I really want to try it...
It's good but alot of people make it all different kinds of ways. Alot of people like it to taste bitter and I don't like that kind. Alot of people that don't like mole don't like it because the only kind they have tried is the bitter kind. That bitter style is more of an authentic Mexican style mole, they also make a green mole sauce. Alot of people that have told me they HATE mole change their minds after they try mine. Even my best friend hated it untill he tried my mole. Another really good friend of mine came over last night and ate some and couldn't get enough of it. He also ate it with mashed potatoes.

I've seen the green stuff in a bottle, but never really thought of trying it. Is there a certain way you prepare the chicken? Sorry, but I must've been blazed when I made that post before this one, LOL.

It's very simple to make it out of the jar. I don't know exact measurements tho :???:

You just boil some chicken and use that broth to cook the mole it. You set the broth in a seperate pot (I use a smaller/medium size pot) and add some of the brown mole in it, I usually put in about half to 3/4 of the jar of mole. After I have added the mole into the broth I add about 2 big heaping spoonfulls of creamy peanut butter and about 5 scoops of sugar (I use a small scooper out of a country time lemonade jar). I cook it on low/med so it can boil softly untill everything is desolved. I usually taste it before it's done to see if I need to add anything else like more sugar, more mole or more chicken broth. It's supposed to be kind of a thick sauce but you're not going to make it perfect the first few times you try but it will still taste good. After that, you just pour it over some spanish rice and chicken. you can eat it with tortillas or white bread. I tend to like to eat it with white bread myself but I eat it with corn tortillas too because my lady likes it with corn. :D

my lady's also Khmer and she likes eating it with white rice too. :???: WTF
