Peakboost????

Hey all just curious as if anybody has had any experience or has heard any info on the PEAKBOOST. "TOP MOUNT" kit for a B16a just curious was seriously considering it!

Ok plans on the B16a fell through seller ended up not bn able to sell, so I'm gonna just buy a B20b! Pretty much sold all the turbo zc stuff and my new setup if all goes well will be. B20b. GSR tranny. Obd-1 LS ECU. Innovative mounts. ARP headstuds. Cometic metal headgasket eagle H-beam rods. Peakboost top mount kit. RC 650cc injectors. HONDATA s300. Walbro 255. Fluidyne del sol radiator. Clutchmasters stage 3. Fidanza flywheel. Golden eagle block guard. ESP crossmember/traction bar. And of course new oem piston rings, all new oem gaskets, PnP, and hopefully one good ass tune! Anybody got imput on anything ive missed or should add for good measure?

first off , i have nothing bad to say about PeakBoost!!!! :worthy:.. they are right up there with Full-Race!

*what are your power goals.?? (because at 367whp my friend ran out of injector and he was running 650cc's)

* i hear good and bad things about blockguards. some say they work, some say they make your cylinders "out of round".. i personally ran one and all was well!! so it's really up to u. I think under350whp u can not use one and still be just as good, save a lil $$

*i personally like Competition Clutch , they hold a good amount of power, and still retains a softer pedal feel.

other than that you are good to go !!


just a heads up when you Tq the head down on the block, Make sure there is NO LIQUID in the headstud holes, because when you Tq the head down the pressure from the liquid being pushed down by the stud will make it crack the block.!!!

Thanx Pootie, ive been following ur thread urs is wicked man! My power goals r gonna be right around 300-375whp so I should be good and if that's not enough ill sleeve it throw some pistons in it upgrade the turbo and boost the f**k out of it lol I think the 3-375 will be plenty for a fun daily driver! O and the block guard thing there only $100 so I'm just gonna try it out my friends haven't had any issues so we will see!

you are boosting a bone stock b20 right?.. i'd stay closer to the 300whp side (just because thats about the power limit on stock rods) . it will deff be fun on the streets. with a safe 11:1-11.5:1 tune it should be reliable too.And S300 has soo many options- boost by gear FTW!! it will help u MILK alllllll the power out that car. I seen a 420whp car go 11.0@127 with boost by gear .That car hooked up and neverrr spun, cut a 1.63 sixty foot.

So with 300-320whp, i don't see why u can't get into the mid to low 12's

Actually I'm gonna run the eagle h beams with the block guard and just stock pistons and rings but new rings and new oem bearings! I think I could cut lower times cuz dude on thezcr.com ran his crx with a bone stock dohc zc with a T3/T4 and a good tune and with slicks he cut a 11.86 with a 1.8 60ft and he was at 285whp! We will have to see I mean im not shooting for a time just WHP so......the same kit I'm getting made 349whp on a bone stock B18c1 @ 9.5psi so if I compensate with psi and up it to like 13-15 I think with the supportive mods I will acheive me goal since my setup seems worthy in the eyes of my peers will shall move forward to my goal of 300-350ish whp and then see what she does on some 22"slicks lol keep us updated on urs pootie!
