ok, ok, ok, one question............

Your mom and girl/wife are infected. You have the cure, but can only save one,
who do you save?
Neither, save it for yourself- those dumb bitches were too dumb to listen and stay the f**k away from zombies.

My mom is dead.

I'll have to padlock her in her dayum trailer-house so she can't infect anyone else.

I also forgot about this thread................
So, the cruise ship idea is the winner or what?
actually.. it was shot down. however it did have good qualities! the only flaw that it had is that you'll have to return to a zombie infested port when you run out of fuel and food.

however i figured (since i dont remember ANYONE mentioning this) since the ship would most likely just have you and maybe 10 other ppl? i mean cruise ships are made to accomidate 500+ ppl, so you subtract i think of that amount of food to just 10 people. yeah it would WORK for a long time, more than a standard, which is what most cruise ships are out to sea for. if you dont cruise alot and just use the engines to keep the fridge and freezers running you should be safe for a longer period of time.

but thats just my thought on this. there are other factors though that make this flawed, like human waste collecting in the tanks, the drink able santiations going out soon etc.

I think going out to a secluded area with people you know and trust that are ready for combat would be good. It would take a lot of prep, but i think first you need a stronghold. A base where you will be safe. If you are on a ship then you are only surving. When you come to land you come to get supplies to keep surviving. If you build a good stronghold, then you could go out and start eliminating zombies and have a proactive role. That way, slowly, you can begin to increase your territory. If you have enough space you can begin growing your own food and doing such things. The problem is that you would need to know someone specialized in everything. Farmer, doctor, carpenter, blacksmith(does anyone even do that anymore?) and so on and so on. Thats why a small, secluded island with good security might be a good idea. But in case it's over run, your screwed.

^The first part sounds good; going to walmart in a shielded armored bus. Just ram through the front doors (since they're glass) and drive up and down the isles and get out only to grab your food. Then go back to some "stronghold" & smoke some weed... That'll be hella gangster!

Except for the fact that the roads will be clogged with cars so the bus can't get through...

f**k that. I'm going to the Super Wal-Mart. Guns, food, air mattresses, pillows, TVs. f**k, man, the place is locked down, too. f**k a zombie, I'll live in that motherfucker forever!

Or load up a shitload of supplies and trek through the post-apocalyptic zombie infested world with my zombie life ending Wal-mart 12 guage and hunting rifle. Yep. That's what I would do.
Im up for that and then cage in the parking lot with like 4 layers of cages and a 6 ft wide 8 ft. high wall and before u build the wall go steal some nice ass cars to drift in the parkin lot alll DAY!!!!! ...YEA...... and u know a whole Cheerleadin team wouldnt hurt too.... :D

right I was going in conjunction with you and trying to revive the ship idea
x2, the cruise ship seems to be the best idea, far enough away from any pandemic, unlike just going to some remote location in the mountains, they can eventually get there, being on a cruise ship, their going to get ripped apart in the undertow of the water and not even be able to make it back to the surface. i'd like to see one of those zombies actualy start swimming if they barelly have enough motor functions to walk in a straight line. a cruise ship is also going to have enough comidations for plenty of people, and the supplies to keep you comfortable for at least a couple of months depending on the amount of people, and that's a very very generous estimate. and everyone has to keep in mind, there is no dramatic effect or suspense factor in real life. people aren't stupid like in the movies. if your smart, and people are, you'll check everyone before coming aboard and i'd put a hole in my best friend if he got bit that very second i noticed it, no waiting for him to turn bullshit, that's just more of a risk. than maybe when supplies do get low, you make one last run to somewhere and buy seeds to plant food and tools and what not, than make your way to a remote small island, and build from there.

and some cruise ships have helicopter pads, so the guy with the flying puff can land and come hang out in the on board casino relax in those woodin sandles, i can't imagine they'd be that comfortable.

that also would work becuase when you are low on food and fuel, you just go to the ports that are army supplies, their obviously going to be locked down to everyone from the land side so you can go into the boat coast gaurd entrance and their going to have a supply of fuel and more than enough MRE's to last a very long time, not to mention that MRE's last forever and they don't need to be refrigerated. i'm sure a max of 25-50 people could last on any coast gaurd/army port's supply for about a year(once again that's a generous estimate considering the army feeds more than 50 soldiers). so if you think of all of those types of ports, your good for at least 10+ years.
jsut go around to pearl harbor, the japanese army ports, vietnam, china. the list is pretty big of army and coast gaurd ports.
boom, theres a solution to not having to gather supplies in zombie infested ports.

I'd like to see someone pilot a cruise ship without experience and a large crew.
