How hard/easy is to get 300whp!?

I have a b18c in the shop now.


piston and rod had arrive! (yes!!!!)

SRP piston 9:5:1 81.5mm
Eagle Rod H beam

Garrett .48AR turbo. (hot and cold side)

Im planning to boost 10-12psi. am i going to make it to 300whp?

if you have a good tuner you can get that with a stock motor. its not that hard. you can make a lot more than 300 WHP with the rods and pistons.

i doubt it....ive seen those turbo's will only do around 250-275whp.....if you get over 300 though let us know!

20psi on my .48a/r got me 262hp. .63a/r jumped to 313

With your setup, I would have to say 18-20psi will give you what you want, 300+whp.

Using a ram manifold and 3" exhaust will also help with more power... Throw some cams in it and you cold get to 300 much easier.
I was running 268whp on a log manifold, stock B16 internals, 3" downpipe to 2.25 exhaust and only 10psi.

get a bigger turbo. might as well since you have pistons/rods, and then make more power.

Yea, I'm with Stealthy on this one. A bigger turbo will net higher gains without having to stress your turbo with soo much PSI as what you would have to run if you stick with the 48.

ah okie...i guess ill use my old charger then, see what it come up with then imma get a garrett turbo 50-52 AR =D
