UMMM...it didn't specify what "RANDOM" photo's should be posted. I never knew random photos had to be specific, hence 'random" photo thread. and if it were meant that I needed to take pix of something for it to be random, then it wasn't specified. it just said, "random photos'. so my bad

sorry about the mix up - i think the basis for these threads was mentioned in the first rand0m pic thread - and most of the people who post in here HAVE been posting in the rand0m threads for a while....

i think i now officially own the most heavily modded p&s on clubcivic

got some new s**t today :w00t: got a fish eye lens and wide angle lens. (they're technically lens converters, still fun for a p&s!!)
stock mode:

out of focus a bit i know, but just experimenting now.

vignetting is horrible with a polarizer and uv filter

i paid $70 + shipping for both of these lenses, deff was worth it imo. should make my p&s more fun now! =D

Just got my camera today! Couldn't wait.

I need a faster lens and a tripod to shoot at night. The high ISOs and long shutters are killer. Should work well in the daylight though.

practice with your kit lens before investing alot of money in lenses. i still have my ket lenses and love them. dont really see the need for one in photos like that
just get a tripod and wait it out

Yeah. The lens doesn't make the photographer. Learn to utilize the kit lens for all its worth.

Just get a tripod, set the iso for 100 and wait it out.

I wish I had my camera right now.
The lightning, holy balls.
This one couldn't have been any farther than a couple miles out, bright as s**t, watched what looked like sparks fall as it faded away. One of those über-bright things that hurts to look at yet you can't look away...like highbeams
