well, i think the main thing that works for me, is that im trying to start the photography up to actually make money...so we both kind of look at purchases as investments...that being said, i dont ever talk to her about buying stuff, if BOTH of us KNOW we dont have any extra money....

I just got in my cactus v2s transmitter and reciever....

..and I think I just fried the transmitter....i'm hoping that it just has to do with a weak battery.....the transmitter LED was lighting up when on camera and using the test button - while trying to get the flash to fire...but i connected the sync cable, flash fired...and now the transmitter led doesn't light up anymore...

about to go get another battery and see if that helps...

heres a shot i took the other day. just got around to tweaking it some. getting a few pointers from friends. i suck at PS but im working on it.

Hopefully nothing fried...i did connect the sync cable from the transmitter to the reciever, which then fired the flash randomly...and still hasn't worked.

I bought a new battery and the test led still does not light up...

did you check the chanels? i mean if the transmitter is on a different one and the receivers one another it wont work.

Oh and can you add borders in light room? I hate posting pics without a border. No border = ugly . I tried downloading a Photoshop 3 or whatever but it ended being some cd burning software or something. the 1000mb one or whatever. So I said F that.

i sold a car to get alot of my lighting. im unemployed at the moment so trying to have at it alittle more. but from the looks of it sam your not doing to bad at all. i love your work. i just need to not be a pussy and actually post my pics. i mean i fail compared to random

No it wasn't mentioned in the original thread. In any case here of some of my random shots. Keep in mind that these were taken with a Canon SD200.
