there is nothing behind the mesh? the lower grill was removed by previous owner, is there a way to get something that looks like the stock lower grill? I know its part of the bumper but i dont want to have to buy another bumper

looks good, i like the black hood, goes good with the unpainted lips. smaller rims and just turbo it and have the intercooler down where the grill is cut out, than you'll be set.
looks good, welcome

haha ya turbo would be sweet with a fat intercooler to fill the lower grill, but im in college and need to save my money..how much would a good turbo setup cost? $2,000?

i hate that lip on the 96-98's. smaller wheels, red hood, new bumper.. lots of potential.

Then maybe make the top match a little better. Or replace both with similiar looking pieces. That might clean it up a bit.

I like it. I'd just get rid of the mesh and get some fogs like you're already planning on doing.... maybe also get a colour matched hood. I've never really been a huge fan of black hoods but I'm okay with CF. I think those wheels look good, though.
