ok,

there are plenty of people w/ cf hoods that dont make threads about their hood not hitting their windshield
things happen. and i'm sure the reason for that case of the hood popping up on the other forum is because of a bad hood latch.. or a massive gap between his hood/headlight and grille... causeing air to ram up and force the hood up..

With proper fitment , and a QUALITY CF hood u should be good with no hoodpins. Because if this was the case, alllll companies that make CF hoods would sell with hoodpins.:what:

i have personally have had 3 CF hoods , one on my 99-00 front, and one on my 96-98 front,, and have had no issues even with 130MPH + traps.

I went down the track once with my CF hood not latched completely and I was fine.

meh, I dont know. maybe in the cases i've looked at it was a bad hood latch. I was just throwing out a suggestion based on what i've seen happen.
