.70/.63 turbo any thoughts? PICS IN UPDATED

just as the title says.... but do you guys think its too big for built z6 motor and with the stage 3 56 or 57 trim (can't remember) wheel do u think the lag would be bad? how about powerband range? goal is around 350-400whp.... i have a .48 turbine and .50 compressor right now running 22psi....

oh yea on a side note... anyone know where i can get the nut and bolt thing for the 5 bolt downpipe? thnx

i was thinking about getting a t70 turbo from ebay.....so i would like to know this also.....

setup is basically drag mani, 3 in DP, front mount intercooler, wastegate set at 15psi, 750cc injectors 255 fuel pump.... but can't really find any info on the turbo on when it spools and the amount of powerband i can use. right now with the .48 i love it.... lol spool at 2750 full spool at 4-4.5K depending on psi that is set. mostlikely street and DD

What do you have done to the motor to be thinking on going to a turbo that much larger, especially from a 48?

vitaras, eagle hbeam, crower cam and drivetrain, thinking about getting edelbrock manifold, 750 cc inj, 255 fuel pump, aem fuel rail and FPR 8lbs flywheel, ACT 6 puck sprung with ACT Xtreme pressure plate

i was running 22psi on my .50/.48 and it maxes out the turbo way before i hit redline which is still 7200... i want to bump it up to 8K and make use of everything. the .48 spools quick from 3K and the 22psi max out around 5K and i got nothin else after that but basically like a flat line.

ran a t70, with similar specs on a b16 and was hitting boost in the 45-55 ranges

You'll be fine with the turbo upgrade; with around 12-14psi, you'll be making just as much power as your 48/50 maxed.

*you wont be seeing 350+ with that turbo though (probably if you ran about 18-20psi), probably around the 300 range, but you're going to need a little more fuel and air going into that motor. I could be wrong though, but it'll be exciting to see.

Ever thought about port and polishing the head? Bigger port clearance for the valves? Bigger cylinder bore size?

well port and polish also boring out the cylinder..... i wanted to.... i don't have room for downtime. i had 75.5 SRP pistons but the down time was too long and i worked an hour away everyday so i was lucky to take off 3 days to rebuild my motor... right now i am thinking about port and polish but gotta see about time....
tell u the truth i might scrap this project/DD and get s2k or 350z

Wow, that's got to suck to have your project as a DD... That's how I was at first, then gave up and bought a second car. Now it's all good in the neighborhood!

so i got the turbo and for some reason... to me... it looks soooooo small.... lol gonna swap it in in about 2 weeks
