that ones from yesterday when i went downtown, lol random pic. i seriously love this thing ha. so many shots i can do now that weren't possible with my p&s, trying to take as many pics while i have the dslr haha.

and thanks! i'm going to ask for an XTi for christmas so hopefully we'll see then. if i got nothing but a dslr i'd be happy lol

ask for money so you can get a 20D... or a 30D

Yep! you cant beat photoshop! if you want to fully edit your photo... and take it to the next level then photoshop is the way to go!

Wow! Really cool pictures IMO. I really like the color of the group photo. What do you use most in photoshop? Color balance, brightness/contrast etc.?

Shadow/Highlight here & there for me with a little Brightness/Contrast to finish it off.
Maybe every now & then a little sharpening/unsharp mask

snapped some pics of a friends fully built d16z6 and boosted crx using the 20d i'm borrowing for a few days. i'm gonna miss it when its gone lol. (these are just the pics i got around to editing before i had to leave for work).

you'll wish you had the better gripability of the 20d and the back wheel for aperture. a screen shouldntbe used to judge anything in a photo besides compositiong and seeing if it overexposed/underexposed. xti screen is ok at best.

the more i use this camera the more i'm falling in love with it :-( i'm now considering buying this used camera off my friend (he hardly has used it) vs buying a new xti. the full sensor thing is whats got me so far, its almost as if my pictures are more wide, idk they just look better, not sure how to explain it. this camera just rocks

see how everything is wider? is that just because its a canon 20d and it has a full-frame sensor and not a crop-sensor? Its just a normal canon 20d with a canon 17-40mm lens. i don't know what it is but these pics just look better than my p&s lol

20d is a crop sensor. the 17-40 is a wide angle lens and if its the L glass its a damn good lens.

ah ok i understand now. it is the 17-40mm wide angle L glass lens. So i guess its the wide angle lens i love then =P . Still, this camera is awesome

So far, I've just done camera mounted flash photo's, I can't wait for the triggers to be in finally...I've been studying strobist and onelight workshop like crazy.

i kind of want to now, he said he would sell it to me with the lens it has, 2 batteries, 2 memory cards, the charger and a carrying bag for $500. thats honestly a steal, i wish i could afford it
