Ok, now I know the stainless steel manifolds are garbage, made by SSautochrome. Now, what about the cast iron ones? Ive heard that they are better (in general) than the stainless ones, b/c its stronger. Are the eBay cast iron manifolds worth buying? Anyone have one, or know anyone who has one? Thanks guys :thumbs up

Cast-iron love heat; they can expand and retract without any problems. Although, there are some THIN layered cast-iron manifolds that DO crack. Shouldn't be a problem if you plan to run low boost though, and not excessive on the turbo size.

Gonna be running a t3/t4 turbo, shooting for 250whp. So it wont be too much boost (less than 15psi).

i have that manifold. Im on my second one. The first one i think was a bad cast because i stripped 2 of the bolts and had to heli coil them and then after that a chunk broke off where the flange was on the bottom and it leaked. Everything is goin fine with the 2nd one and im running more boost.

That looks a lot like the edelbrock manifold. I'd personally buy a quality brand that spends money on r&d than buy something noname that'll probably work for a bit before it breaks. fitment is also sometimes an issue with noname brands.

i know of alot of high horsepower cars(300+whp) running cast egay manifolds, cant beatem for the price. rumor's say stay away from the manifolds with the wastegate flange on the cylinder 1 runner as it can cause boost creep. ive run mine for 10,000+ miles and i have NEVER experienced bost creep with it

my cousin's BLOX cast-iron turbo manifold cracked today while driving home..we thought it'd be a good brand to buy also..just a heads up though..i'd spend a couple hundred more and get a life time warranted manifold--such as the log one in my sig

i bought one of those ebay cast manifolds in a kit that came with a t3t4 turbo for my LS. the only problem i had was the the kit didnt fit and required that i ground the s**t out of my block. the the kit was for an LS so i was pissed it didnt fit. but other than that it was all good.
