I would bet what happen to your shift linkage is that they broke off one of your bolts that holds up the linkage and now your only held in by one bolt. all it takes is to jack up your damn car and crawl under it find out! how hard is that? If you have a bolt broke off your gonna have to drill it out and retap it. not hard. No way in hell i would be driving it like that.

If they "tilted" your tranny, that means your motor is "tilted". Something dosent seem right, either way. Either your shifter isnt connected, or your tranny is missing gears or something. Either way, Id be concerned.

They could have just bent his linkage.
The linkage that came from Japan with my B16 swap was a little banged up so I had a similar problem.
If you know how to drive a your car, you don't even notice stuff like that.
